Yes, a single file installation of GB firmware over JB is sure to damage the bootloader and partition. The ROMs given above are official ones. If you have to downgrade, do as directed above and then install the single file GB firmware after downgrading. I downloaded a jellybean version and flashed my phone about a month ago. The version had a bug that made the phone freeze whenever i played video. I have just used this tutorial to go back to the Gingerbread version,which all went ok.

Although you should add a comment about unmounting the sd card otherwise it will continue restarting, and won't install. I've try to re-install Kies, but nothing.. I have seen other articles with different files and versions, where is the place to find the stability of those versions?
